Who are Nadine Kelly Photography?
We are a young couple with a keen eye for photography. We are based locally in the Amman Valley and aim to provide a fun and relaxed atmosphere during your shoot. Nadine is 21 years old and qualified in photography and graphic design some 5 years back and has been working hard at improving her skills ever since. Gareth is 29 and has been watching Nadine take photos for the past 5 years and in 2010 decided to see what it was all about - since then he has been hooked, taking photos of wildlife and nature with many of his photographs reaching various stages of an online explore site - a recent photo has actually swooped 1st place out of over 5 million photographs from millions of photographers around the World. Nadine concentrates more on the portrait and automotive side of things.
Why choose us?
Our main advantage is that we shoot in the comfort of your own home or location of your choice whether it be in your back garden or at your favourite beach. We have no limits to what we are willing to try so please contact us with any ideas you may have. We are young and like to be adventurous we can take your traditional studio portraits or get you outside on location with flashes everywhere and create some cool fashion shots whether you be 15 or 50 it doesnt matter, one thing that does matter lets have FUN!
How do I book?
Booking couldnt get any easier - there is a contact form on here which will send an email directly to Nadine, she will get back to you within a couple of hours and discuss things through with you, if youre happy with what you hear then well book you in there and then! Waiting times vary sometimes we can fit you in the next day, sometimes it may be the following week. We always fit you in when is most convenient for you, we work weekdays and WEEKENDS. What to expect on the day?
We will turn up a little before our arranged time to start setting up the studio (you wont miss us as the car is bright yellow) we will then see where you want us to set up and start erecting the fully portable studio backdrop and lights, this usually takes approximately 15-20 minutes as well need to test the lighting before hand. During the set up period we will have the chance to chat to you and get you more relaxed, this time is crucial with child portraiture as it gives them the opportunity to help set up and get involved which always helps when it comes to actually taking the photos as they will be more relaxed around us! Dont worry we are both very good with children and know the tricks of the trade on how to get them smiling and being natural. We dont want big cheesy grins we want laughter and emotion. Your shoot will last anything from 45 minutes 2 hours depending on what shoot it is. We will show you some photos as we go through so you can see what were aiming for. After the shoot is finished we will pack up and help you return your room to how it was (if we have to move anything). Then your photos should be available to view on the client area of the website within 2-5 days depending on how busy we are at the time.
What next?
We will contact you when your photos are online ready for viewing or alternatively if you havent got access to the internet we will ring you and arrange an appointment to visit you again with a slideshow of your final photos. Then all is left to do is decide which ones you want and what sizes (always the hardest part) If youre unsure of sizes etc then we are willing to show you examples, please just ask.
What kinds of photography do you do?
This answer could go on for a long time. We can cover anything, we have enough equipment and knowledge to do pretty much whatever you want, so please contact us. We can do:
* Studio portraits
* Outdoor portraits
* Night portraits/fashion portraits
* Landscapes
* Still life Ideal for menus, cafes , shops etc.
* Automotive Very much sort after in this field as there are not many automotive photographers around this area. (Examples available here)
* Weddings (whether it be half day or full day- studio/photo booth available on request)
* Proms / Dinner dances / Birthdays (for events such as these we are able to bring the portable studio and create fun shots using different props etc.)
* Pet portraits
* Wildlife & nature (commissioned work)
* Event photography
* Boudoir / glamour (dont worry Gareth doesnt have to do these with me)
* Equestrian photography
